For my desk clocks, I try to keep the wood in its natural state while still showing signs of craftsmanship. In my clocks, you will see natural features of the wood, such as growth rings and the shape of the log perimeter, plus hand carving to enhance the wood where the bark once attached. "Refined Rustic" is what I call it.
With the addition of instruments of time and climate, my clocks will be useful and enhance the decor of any home or office.
