Inspired by the furniture maker from Vienna of the early 1900Ős
who, among his many designs, had designed an end table, one side of which, looked similar to the design of this mirror.
I make this mirror from solid Quarter-sawn White Oak in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement and features mortise and tenon joinery and half-lap joints for the lattice. The two vertical rails are tapered on two sides (front & side). The mirror is of the highest quality 3/16" glass with a 1" bevel on all sides and is purchased from a reputable glass company. The finish is a two step process of wood dye, stain, and urethane top-coat.
